Lol haha ok "someone" asked me to blog yesterday night but i was too tired so yea i'll blog today haha.. The past weeks have been really fun except for that fight i almost had with one of my classmates hehe... ummm elearning week is coming (NOT YAY) cause there is so so so much work to do... haha going to have lesson later ^^ then play badminton, watch tjco concert, then stay over at sp for tmr's performance! haha... these weeks have been a blast, thanks to everyone around me, and u <3!

Recently i thought about it and i realised that blogging is really quite a silly thing,
u write ur personal thoughts for other ppl to see, and for other ppl to know. but i realised: there's a reason why personal thoughts are "personal" and private. Blogs can also effectively become a root for relationship problems with anyone around u. since blogging doesn't really give me much of a kick, and neither does it do good for anyone around me, i figured i should i just stop blogging altogether to avoid any unecessary misunderstandings. sry for wasting xq and yq time on trying to make my blog prettier and everything! Even till now, i cant completely comprehend the need for an online blog, unless u make it private or something. Somehow, i feel after a while blogging is fun, but eventually becomes a habitual chore for me. As long as we know who we are, who we love and what we do, there's not much use in blogging. Hence, if i am ever going to write about my personal thoughts, ill do it physically in a diary or something, until i find a good reason for myself to start blogging again. cya! thanks for the nice and random tags ^^

Oh no.. Throat infection?

Hehe.. same thing again. throat infection then fever.. but heng i rest in the afternoon, felt better.. still didn't go to geco today, didn't want to take the risk! Got work to do, stuff to prac. Hehe... suddenly abit siao, wanna finish as much as possible tmr! School starting soon!!! i don wanna fall sick... hehe tmr need to wake up at 8am to give myself anf xq wake up call!!! yay tmr lesson... dunno why these few days, started feeling happier even though i wasn't well. Hmm.. nothing much to say about today, found it a nice and happy one. Hope Sam can finish his thesis by Oct, after exams, and hopefully by the end of this year, he finish everything!!! yay!!! haha today very funny.. see my sister got new high heels, looks funny wearing it!!!

lol started at 730 today... at somerset.. lol quite lame sp flood the whole of singapore with ppl holding tin cans asking for money
haha.... ummm went to comn centre from 8 to 10, ate from 10 to 11, walk from somerset to db to orchard and then went to cine to play at ezone, then started collection from 12 to 2 and headed back to school ^^ hehe quite happy, i collected around $70!! haha... yay... tired kept standing except for the time at the arcade and eating... legs hurt!!! argh ok i think im going to fall sick, throat swelling again!!! sigh.. ok thats all for today

Lol today was a great day!!! cause it was a holiday!! haha.. woke up at 10, watched some cantonese show on youtube from episode 2 to episode 7 (skipped 5 and 6), knowing that i do not understand cantonese.. haha i just suddenly wanna pick up dialect. then ate lunch, practiced, then stayed on the computer till about 630, then went out to eat dinner at sakae with yq! haha then, went back home again and watched american idol!!! haha then went on maple for a while to talk to frens then log out again... anyways, good news!!! IVAN HAS A NEW NOTEBOOK! hope hes happy now.. haha tmr will be sp's president's challenge flag day, from 7.30am till 3pm!!! omg so tiring... its going to be at somerset for my class.. so yea... hope i can get suntan tmr! haha...

Orientation day 1

Lol boring today... from 1 to 4.30 of talks and talks and talks in the auditorium... argh... my class is really small, but flooded with guys, and not girls :( i mean if like the guys were nice then ill be sohappy, but most guys are either weird, or think they are some rock star in america. well actually i only saw a few of them haha... lol some guys are really high ego sia.. so scary...sometimes i feel that guys are so so so stupid (including me), not to know whats good and whats bad for them. whats waiting for them and whats never going to come. anyways there are like 3 barker guys in my class!!! one guy called david soon, used to play cello in barker co!! then he quit at sec 2 so i never really knew him.. haha then another poser called shun. omg the first thing i heard him say was "im a us citizen". like so super turn off la, eee... he left barker for acs i in sec 2 so i can only remember his face also.. haha not really liking my class right now... oh well, thank God i got great friends outside! hmm... oh yea!!! i got top for pipa grading!!! yay!!!! yay!!! yay!!! THANK GOD. 93/100, 19/20 for practice piece (i cant believe it), 38 for weishuiqin (i also cant really believe it), and 36 for bawangxiejia (hmm ok i can believe haha). but i got to perform on 22 april... hehe ^^.. need to prac bawang again haha! lol quite happy now, but tmr need to bring notebook to school tmr, and extra clothes.. wonder whats going to happen?

School starts!

Hehe have to go to school tmr... lucky dont need bring anything!!! all the briefings for everyone in SMIT in the auditorium from 1 to 4.05!! yay dont have to wake up early yet... just kinda sad, that i dont really know anyone or have any friends from my school yet... why isn't joseph in my school? wa... haha starting to feel stressed that school is starting soon.. oh well, there goes my comfort zone again. My course (DMAT) only has 2 classes, 1A and 1B, i'm in 1A. thats all i know!!! lol oh well wonder whats going to happen tmr... anyways today was quite a funny day, went to church late, and could not get into the service cause it was full, just left church after passing nick the long chuan scores, and went to tekka to have breakfast. then visited my grandma, met up with nick, left for db again and went to starbucks, where i sat there and did nothing but read my pink book and flip through the ply cards over and over again, while nick and yq were drinking! hehe... then finally decided to go back to that place again, where we started playing the same things again... after that ivan yq and me sent nick off for lesson and went to eat really lousy omelette completely covered in mayo. so sick. then walk around aimlessly and headed home at about 3pm. Went home super tired.. went on maple for 1 hour, practice 1 hour, watch tv and practice 2 hours, read blogs 1/2 hour, and looked through the sp orientation programme stuff... lol i dont really know what to say, but im feeling rather confused right now, so many things in my head.. it's like im trying to avoid things that i cannot avoid forever... quite down now

Recently i have been going to Sam's house so so so many times and for so long.. today had lesson from 1 to 5!!! but it was fun learning the form of caoyuan ^^.. anyways today i did something quite dumb. as u would know today is Good Friday, i didn't remember hearing the pastor accounce that there was a service on GF! But when i was happily sleeping in the morning, my father woke me and my sister up to go to church!!! well anyways we took a cab down cause we though we were late, but when we reach there we realised that there was nobody!!! argh!! wasted.. then went to tekka to eat the famous duck rice, quite nice, then visit my grandma again, and practice caoyuan for super long only the first 2 pages.. hehe forgot the time and was late for lesson.... argh hate it!!! then after lesson went to hans with yiqing and ivan to have dinner, then stone there for so long until almost 11!!!! i took out my pipa after a while and started practising quietly at the outdoor area of the restaurant!! hehe just felt like it... then talk talk talk stone stone stone then go home again... hehe im mad.... anyway, had a nice day today la, tmr got lesson again!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Just got home from eating sakae buffet with sam and ivan! abit tired... haha yes i know u wanna join us xq but its one more week of attachment!!! u can do it!!! haha... anyways i want to thank all u guys for ur prayers and support!! sorry i never sms u guys until i got results... i felt abit unsure hehe!!! even though i have to admit i wasn't very prepared for it. Thanks YQ for ur one day loan of luck! haha...!! nick dont be sad ok? we are still here for you, so dont be depressed or anything! ^^ oh yea, went to arcade with sam and ivan while waiting for 3 pm for buffet to start!! and sam can play marvel vs capcom!!!! quite pro i must say, using ONE token he finished the whole game! (using his favourite cammy, storm and this sadistic pinic basket girl) haha! anyways to save my sms, im gonna type the whole process of my grading today here on the blog! haha... so smart! OK this is how it goes.
I set alarm clock to wake up at 730, ended up sleeping till 8.20!! then got up, practice till 9.30 then ate nice breakfast that my mum cooked :) changed first string then went to bath, and left the house at 10.30.. my tutor was so nice to fetch me there, but when we got there we got kinda lost to go which building haha.. so went one circle i think and reach nafa at 11... my timing was 11.36 and i have to report at least 20 mins earlier, so i was abit tense hehe.. sam met me downstairs and we both went up to register and to the waiting room. The waiting room was not as crowded and loud as yesterday, so i took out my qin and started playing.. so nervous until cannot play properly, then sam scold me say cannot lose zhuang tai so easily... and kept trying to tune my pipa with the very unseasoned strings.. haha then at 11.20, suddenly su min came in and said it was my turn!!! i was so scared cause my hands were quite cold and i wasn't warmed up yet, but i had to go, so yea. took a deep breath and went to the room where wu chiong was. i said lao shi zhao ^^ then sat down on the nice black soft seat, and she ask me very stonely (not a real word) to start. sadly, i forgot to pray b4 and started playing lian xi qu straight away.. it was quite ok, but i had one trip, quite major one.. so i was like "damn" in my heart!! then weishui was next. this time i remember to pray, so i said a short one in my heart, and started.. because my zhuang tai wasn't very strong yet, the start was quite messy, with quite a few small small mistakes (not a good start), but towards the kuai man i got better and at the kuai ban i actually managed to play the 2432121252432312 part and shou cleanly!! i was so happy... then ended that phrase, then just nice she asked me to stop playing, cause the last phrase is just a repeat of the first ^^.. then she started smiling at me and talked to me, while i was struggling to tune my pipa to the bawang tuning... she asked me who was my teacher, then she asked me how old i was, then she asked me if i wanted to go professional!! i was quite shocked, but i said no, i'll be happy to be semi-pro haha! then she laughed gently.. lol then she realised i was getting nowhere with my tuning so she walked nicely over to my seat and help me tune!! i was so paiseh so i said sorry to her, and explained to her that my qin is abit hard to tune, so she took my pipa and one shot loosen the whole 3rd string and retuned it perfectly to B! so scary she did it in like 15 seconds. Then it was time for bawang. haha after she talked to me and help me tune my pipa, i finally got my zhuang tai proper! so happy.. then i started ba wang quite well, made one or two mistakes here and there where i didn't press the note properly cause i was too concerned with my right hand haha.. but the man ban from chu ge onwards was really really fun. i just played the best i could from the chu ge part till the end. and it was really quite dramatic. haha!!! then i finish playing and she was quiet, smiling at me. then i stood up, said xie xie lao shi, then i suddenly gave her a blur look, cause i didnt't know if i was to leave the room, so i asked her, can i leave the room yet, then she laughed and said yea can already!! (in chinese) then i smile back at her and left!! and sam was outside waiting liao haha... ok thats the end of the story!!! yay!!!
From this grading, i learnt that last minute work doesn't really pay off.. so i have to work harder and not slack off. ^^ ok this blog post is seriously long i need to stop!!!! God bless!

This year's AFD is really quite pathetic haha no one seems to care anymore... other than one pathetic attempt from my sec 4 classmates and a chain sms from xq, nothing much happened!! oh well... went to church today, early for the first time (maybe cause i was the only one going to church today) and then visit my ah ma and ah kong haha!! play with cousin's puppy, practice in her shop and fell asleep practising! haha then went to sam's house again for lesson from 2, and stayed there till 10 something. lol!!!! Nothing much today, i need more more more practice ^^ ok Good nites!

Yay... lesson was fun today, and everyone was happy! maybe except for ivan.. haha cheer up dont whine too much! ^^ Went to Sam's house for lesson at 9.45 am, had lesson, thank God i didn't get scolded. But i know i can do better, so ill work harder. Didn't eat anything until around 3 something Sam gave me some Tai Yang Bing or something haha and drank jiajia liang tei again... hehe 4 o'clock jake and nick came for lesson, not long after XQ came too, then started talking and talking haha... Take turns to play on the "hot seat" haha stress then left for dinner at tiong bahru at long john silver... Well its nice to see everyone smiling today, even though not all is well! Jia you XQ dont give up!!! oh yea nick's nails got stolen at ACS today during co, so lame! dunno which F-face so boliao nylon nails also wanna steal. So all in all, i stayed in Sam's house for lesson, practice, napping and snacking from 10am to 9pm! haha new record.. grading coming so soon, and im not fully prepared for it. this will NEVER happen again! When i come home, dad also happy so i happy haha... he bought me a 2gb thumbdrive yay!!! and 120gb external hard drive.. haha!!! If only everyday could be like today, except for the not eating part haha... Thanks God!

Man.. so scared of tomorrow!!! lesson with sam... i just realised that i cant go for the orientation camp i signed up for cause of grading... haha!! oh well... I feel that i am beginning to get the hang of ba wang, its just that i am still not done with the form of bawang, some fast parts cannot play smoothly yet!! Today same thing again.. but today wake up never practice, started doing work and tried to get a new skin for this blog (which failed as you can see) , then i started practising in the afternoon... practice until my pipa got wet from my sweat! i love it when that happens.. just feels so good! ^^ Then used my laptop camera to make a video of my weishui, realised got quite abit of tempo problem at the fast part, will work on it. Now playing ba wang over and over in the hope that i will memorise the score once and for all!!!! for the lian xi qu i will prac until i it fast. dont care how i do it! ITS JUST CHIONG. Met YQ at bishan to eat dinner, then go for geco, played meng die! haha sounds stupid alone, but should sound really nice if everyone play together.. lucky pipa score not hard haha!!! Somehow even though tan bo never practice very hard, still managed to play! haha... As usual after that went to macs again, eat double cheeseburger then talk talk talk... until realised that its super late (11.30pm) then went started going home! and here i am now haha! Good nite!

Yea man!!! I finally got my laptop today after spending 3 days at SP!!! As I promised i will start blogging again ^^, but i wonder who will read haha... anyways its going to be a busy time from now, cause of grading, and all the orientation camps b4 school starts... Time to start working! Sorry that my internet couldn't work just now, its late but HAPPY BDAY BRIAN! haha i'll try to get u something by sunday, found nothing yesterday... School starting soon, so excited! Had a fight with my mum yesterday at lunch, ended up having a cold war which cooled in about 30 mins.. -_-" so fast! Anyway, whether it is short or long, it's still bad, and i'm worrying cause its happening more and more often... Hope that there will never be a time when things get really bad! Family is bliss when everyone does their part.

Lol i don't feel like blogging today, so i'll just type out an article from the newspaper many years back which i found during spring cleaning haha.. it holds so much truth about life today.. so here it goes!

Went to ACJC yesterday for CNY celebration and to fufil my commitment to the co and perform with them for the first and last time. 1st item was the co, and it was quite bad.. haha! my item was the 7th item and it was the very first time i was able to perform on a stage with a huge audience (including all the staff members and principal) in a red t-shirt, jeans and puma sneakers! haha super fun... i played yizu with 2 other guzhengs and 1 other pipa, glad they enjoyed it. ^^ Even though we only rehearsed it a few times last week, most ppl said that our performance was better than the co's! haha so happy.. sigh.. which leads to another problem. The co teacher-in-charge called me after the performance and told me that i could remake my decision anytime, even if it was after the JAE posting results! So i was really delighted at it called my dad, who told me to stay. I'm really confused now but im not caring about it cause it's celebration time! haha... Went back to ac(barker) after that to visit teachers, but many of the teachers had already resigned from the school... all in one year lol! Looks like i'll never get the pizza that my amath teacher owed me for getting B3 in o's! (i got f9 in prelim). After that went to watch Miss Potter, quite nice! Forgot completely that there was geco practice, reminded by ivan and yq lol lucky i brought my pipa along. To all the ppl who showed me care and concern all this time, thanks so much. Grading exams are also getting nearer, but i still have not practiced for it :( stress..

Tough Choices.

It's been a really trying week for me... making a decision between the so-called safety of a junior college education and the risk of following ur passion. Thanks to xq for listening to me when i was really down, and sam for your simple and honest opinions, and jos, crystal, yq, AnLi and miss michelle tang for the support! I really thank God for u guys. Well i chose to take music and audio technology in SP instead of ACJC basically because i know this is what i want. I will try my very best to reach my goal! ^^ Even so, the uncertainty that lies ahead of me still shakes me and i am really relying on my belief that God will always make a way no matter what. I am also very sad that i have to leave ACJC and ACCO, but it's a choice that i have made. I know that it's partially my fault that the teacher is so upset, because i did not directly tell her that i would not stay in ACJC. The look on her face when she found out that i wasn't staying really showed me how disappointed she was.. made me feel like a let down the CO.. Not many ppl in the CO know that i am leaving, but i know that its my responsibility to inform them. It's going to be hard but i am going to personally tell Shen lao shi that i cannot take part in SYF with them... hope he won't hate me for this. Anyways, there's just too much for me to say in one post. Tomorrow is going to be my first and last performance with ACCO and i hope its going to be a good one that i can remember. Pray for the best for my YiZu quartet performance tomorrow too!
